Since joining YE Boulangerie & Patisserie in 2023, my time here has been filled with learning, variety, and the sweet aroma of freshly baked pastries. Although my official role started as Front of House (FOH), I soon found myself stepping into multiple roles—supporting the barista station, assisting in the hot kitchen and pastry section, managing inventory, and ensuring friendly service to every customer who walked in. Every shift brought something new. Whether I was coordinating with the kitchen to keep pastries replenished, carefully handling the inventory, or chatting with customers over a cup of coffee, I discovered how diverse tasks seamlessly weave together to create a warm café atmosphere. The pastries weren’t just delightful to serve; they made even long shifts feel more rewarding.

The team at YE, though not named here individually, creates a sense of heartfelt camaraderie and a responsive working culture. Their flexibility helped me balance tasks across departments and grow my skills in customer service, teamwork, and operations. Stepping behind the barista counter, plating for the hot kitchen, or preparing pastry displays all taught me how each role matters in the bigger picture. I cherish the moments when a regular customer’s familiar smile brightens a busy morning, or when colleagues join in the playful banter that lightens the workload. These are the small, everyday memories that continue to shape my experience—and my growth—as part of the YE family.
