Personal Statements
Motto
" Good times, trying times, I value experience at any time. "
Goals
Short-term goals:
-
learn basic Italian language
-
learn art and crafts
-
work with special needs children.
To begin with, the reason to learn Italian is that Italy has great employment opportunities for psychology careers as they have great open-mindedness in applying psychological procedures in their daily life and to a great degree in sports. I would like to learn how psychology sports help Italian sportsmen in peaking their performance and how they apply psychology to sports. Acknowledging my shortcomings in art and crafts, I’d like to learn more art and crafts skills which would help me in my future career working with children because art and crafts can help build their creativity and gross motor skills. In conjunction with my upcoming internship course, I am considering taking this opportunity to obtain knowledge and skill regarding special needs care and education for children by working at those centers.
Long-term goals:
-
learn foreign languages
-
get foreign working permits
-
venture into different job industries
Moving on, I believe that teaching from the young helps to firm their base in further building their future. Hence, I hope that the emphasis on ECCE will not fade off in the future and that more career opportunities will be available. Furthermore, I believe more job opportunities will be offered if I am able to speak the language of foreign countries that have great emphasis on ECCE such as Japan, Korea, France, and Sweden. My goal is also to apply for work permits in different countries such as those mentioned to widen my field of knowledge and vision in the ECCE field as well as to gain more different experiences. As I graduate, I do look forward to having opportunities that allow me to work in different job industries to expand my knowledge and to help in my personal growth.
