In 2025, I was on a career break and took the opportunity to join the PERMATA Kursus Asuhan dan Didikan Awal Kanak-Kanak PERMATA (KAP) course — a program established under Malaysia’s national initiative to raise the quality of early childhood education.

The PERMATA curriculum focuses on providing educators with the knowledge, skills, and values needed to nurture children’s holistic development—covering cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth. Throughout the training, I learned about the importance of designing age-appropriate lessons, observing children’s progress, and applying reflective practices in teaching. The program not only deepened my understanding of child development but also strengthened my ability to create meaningful and engaging learning experiences.

Completing this course was truly a proud milestone for me. Holding my PERMATA certificate is not just a recognition of my training, but also a reminder of my responsibility as an educator to uphold high standards in early childhood care and education. This achievement reinforced my passion and commitment to guiding children during their most formative years, and I look forward to applying what I’ve learned throughout my career.
