In 2018, I've volunteered to be a camp volunteer at the Ali de Speranza Famine-30 DIY camp. I've supported fund-raising and camp setup and guided a total of 1000 campers. Our camp was honored to be awarded as the "Largest 30-Hour Famine DIY Camp 2018" by World Vision Malaysia 30-Hour Famine.
I had a very great experience volunteering for the second consecutive year. Although I signed up for the same role as the previous year, it was a totally different experience for me. Along with my friends and other camp volunteers, the things we go through, see, learn, handle, expect, solve and all the challenges were all different this year. We were really excited to be well-recognized and nominated as the "Largest 30-Hour Famine DIY Camp 2018" by World Vision Malaysia 30-Hour Famine as this assures us that we've done our best by being awarded the best title. I appreciate the opportunity given to be part of the team player and to make contributions. I've learned a lot more than what I have compared to the previous year as well as I am thankful to the seniors and camp committees for giving me the opportunity and for trusting me in handling the campers.

On the 21nd of July 2018 marks the opening ceremony of the Ali de Speranza 8-Hour Kidz Famine and 30-Hour Famine Camp. Truly respected sponsors and the board of directors of SJKC Perempuan Klang are invited to be the guest and to announce the beginning of the famine countdown. The sponsors has continuously cashed in funds to fund this camp and for sponsoring goods needed. Ali de Speranza sponsors have remained devoted and willingly throughout the years. Other than that, we are most thankful to the board of directors of SJKC Perempuan Klang as they are always there for us whenever we have needs, they are ready to accommodate us. These adults have my greatest respect of all for trusting, supporting, motivating, and giving young generations opportunities to shine.

On the 22nd of July 2018 marks the closing of Ali de Speranza 30-Hour Famine Camp. It is all sweat and tears that everyone has contributed to the camp. I am happy to make so many new friends here from committee levels to volunteers to campers. I am also thankful to be able to have a role here. I am also thankful to the other committees and volunteers for enduring my shortcomings or any unpleasant behavior of mine. I learned so much about being an active team player and leadership skills in leading the campers. I look forward to meeting this awesome team again in the future and at the next camp! They have granted me the opportunity to create wonderful memories during my youth days.

Photography team is also volunteered to contribute to the camp without any wages. This short clip here is one of the highest rating video of Ali de Speranza.
